Description of the job
The Business Development Representative (BDR) at Care Continuity plays a crucial role in driving the company's growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities. This position requires a proactive and results-driven individual to generate new leads, qualify prospects, and schedule meetings with potential customers, including hospitals, health systems, accountable care organizations (ACOs), payers, and other healthcare entities. The BDR will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure a strong and consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Lead Generation:
- Identify and qualify potential clients through targeted outreach, including cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn engagement, and networking events.
- Develop a deep understanding of target accounts, decision-makers, and key stakeholders to personalize outreach efforts.
- Utilize intent data, market research, and competitive intelligence to refine prospecting strategies.
- Engagement & Outreach:
- Craft compelling messaging tailored to the needs and pain points of prospects to generate interest in Care Continuity's solutions.
- Conduct initial outreach and discovery conversations to assess potential fit and business needs.
- Follow up on inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns to further qualify opportunities.
- Sales Pipeline Development:
- Schedule and coordinate discovery meetings and product demos with the sales team.
- Ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads to the sales team by providing detailed background information.
- Maintain a consistent flow of high-quality leads to support revenue growth.
- Collaboration & Strategy:
- Work closely with the marketing team to align outbound efforts with campaigns, events, and content marketing initiatives.
- Provide feedback on messaging, objections, and competitive insights to enhance lead generation effectiveness.
- Participate in regular sales meetings to discuss pipeline health, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Event & Tradeshow Support:
- Assist with pre-event outreach and scheduling meetings in advance of trade shows and industry conferences.
- Attend events as needed to engage with prospects and expand professional networks.
- Performance Metrics & Reporting:
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified leads and scheduled meetings.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as call volume, email response rates, and conversion metrics.
- Continuously optimize outreach strategies based on data-driven insights.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Entry-level position; fresh college graduates or individuals with 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with senior-level executives.
- Highly motivated, self-starter with a results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
