Reports to: Safety Director

Lindamood Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Safety Manager to lead our safety initiatives across multiple sites. In this pivotal role, you will support the Safety Director in driving safety excellence, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a culture of proactive safety. By applying lean principles and a rigorous approach to hazard management, you will ensure the well-being of our team members and drive continuous improvement in safety processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Safety Leadership:

• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive safety strategy, in partnership with operational and safety teams.
• Identify and assess trends, risks, and opportunities to reduce hazards, providing actionable insights and corrective actions.
• Drive continuous safety culture improvement through training and mentorship of safety and operations leaders.

Operational Safety Oversight:

• Review safety performance data and incident trends weekly to identify root causes and corrective measures.
• Conduct site audits to ensure compliance with safety protocols and drive the execution of safety programs.
• Collaborate on the creation and deployment of specialized safety programs tailored to specific site needs.

Compliance and Regulatory Expertise:

• Ensure full compliance with Federal and State OSHA regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of safety standards.
• Assist in the development and follow-up of corrective actions for any safety-related citations or issues.
• Act as the on-site leader during critical incidents, ensuring proper response and adherence to safety protocols.

Communication and Reporting:

• Maintain open communication with all levels of management, escalating safety concerns, compliance gaps, and emerging risks.
• Deliver weekly safety reports, including trend analyses, incident reviews, and status updates on safety initiatives.
• Provide industry insights, benchmarking opportunities, and continuous feedback to improve safety tools, processes, and systems.
